A Gusto Dixie Spinner is great for trolling,casting and now jigging,and this is how I use them. Put a 3/16 ounce slip sinker on your line above the Dixie Spinner leader,use a small plastic or live bait on the hooks, don't push the hooks through the bait all the way this will help the lure become weedless.Cast your Dixie Spinner into the water, let it settle to the bottom, pull the lure up two feet and let it settle down again.This is like fishing with a plastic worm.
The action of the lure's blade spinning in the water will attract fish of all kinds. Try it it works, and you have found another way of using the Gusto Dixie Spinner, and with those great colors it's a great lure to use.
